This is not going to be a long post, but a quick Sri Lanka travel advisory to give you a better idea about Covid-19 in Sri Lanka & curfew in Sri Lanka right now. If you have planned a trip to Sri Lanka, please note that we are not taking any passenger flights to the country until further notice.
As at now ( 23.03.2020 ) there are eighty-two confirmed cases including four recovered. So there are 31 foreigners as well. However, there are a lot of suspected patients all around the country. Since it was hard to control the crowds, Sri Lanka is extending a curfew in the Colombo, Gampaha and Puttalam districts until Tuesday. But rest of the areas will get a break on Monday from 6.00 am till 2.00. So if you are in the country at the moment, please try to stock up things once the curfew is lifted for a few hours. Most importantly, follow all the precautions and avoid the crowds as much as possible.
What to do for an emergency during curfew?
